Brandon Country Park parkrun

Max, Sebastian and I headed out to Brandon Country Park for the parkrun before going off the Thetford for a spot of mountain-biking. The weather was fine and not too hot or humid. The paths were a mixture of surfaces including some rather rough sandy sections. I, unfortunately, took more than one wrong turn and eventually waited for the next runner to catch-up with me and escort me to the finishing straight - which I again almost missed....Max attempted to hang-on to the front runner but ended-up bonking just before the finish. It was a small, friendly parkrun - I would not describe the distances as accurate especially as there was a sharp turn that Max and I interpreted differently. I took the long way around! Zero PB potential but in terms of a training run out in the woods it does have BP (best parkrun) potential. As a group we did OK capturing 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.
