 Colworth Marathon Challenge. Second race. 8.1 miles

Though the hills were doable, the terrain was unremittingly hard, with uneven and rutted ground nearly all the way, plus nice long grass to obscure all the pitfalls. Hot and horrid. Non stop fun all the way!
The full picture, for those interested, is that there are 3 races, Friday 5 miles, this one at 8.1 and to round it off a lovely half marathon on Sunday, making up a full marathon over the 3 days. There are camping facilities, which looked good from what we saw of them.But be warned, if the going is as hard as Saturday's, it would be a tough call to do all three.....
