 Le Marathon de la Liberté (Caen D-day Landings Marathon)
Caen, France, Sunday 10th June 2012 - 26.2 miles (accurate).

One of the top 10 French Marathons. Can be done very cheaply by ferry as foot or bike passenger (£60 return with a lounge seat) - no need for an overnight hotel. Course looks quite fast and one of the last chances to get GFA for London 2013.
