 Lord Mayor's 5k City Centre Classic
Norwich, Saturday 9th July 2011 - 5 km (accurate).

This is like a microcosm of a big city marathon: closed city streets, big crowd, relatively smally field (tens of thousands said to be supporting, but 81 finishers last year). The crowds are there under false pretences: they are waiting for the Lord Mayor's procession, and the race is run just before that. The catch is, you must be able to finish in under 20 mins, and will be ejected if you're not on schedule at half way! An amazing experience. --CharlieW 05Mar2011
