Tuesday Training Sessions
 

Introduction

Tuesday evening sessions are scheduled as follows.
6.30pm News items, notices etc..
6.40pm Warm up, including drills and skills
7.00pm Training session
8.00pm Warm down
8.15pm Finish
8.30pm Please be off-site

Road/off-track and track sessions for the next few weeks are below. Choose whichever suits you best. If you have any queries about which that might be, or would like further advice on a training programme, speak to one of the coaches.
The coaches will assume that all athletes are fit enough to complete the training session, please let us know of any injuries or medical issues.

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU WEAR HI-VIS IF YOU ARE RUNNING IN THE ROAD SESSIONS.

Off track: 5 x 1k with 3 minutes recovery, West Site
Track: 8x 600m, with 200m jog

19 February
Off track: Parlaufs 6 x 800m, West Site
Track: Short WU; Winter Pyramid (1k, 600m, 200m mix)

26 February 2019
Off track: Indian Running and 1k time trial, Jesus Green
Track: 6x 800m, with 400m jog recovery

5 March 2019
Off track: City Fartlek
Track: 4x 800m, 4x 400m, with equal time standing recovery

12 March 2019
Off track: Hold and Kick
Track: 8x 600m, with 200m jog

19 March 2019
Off track: Long Storey's Way loops
Track: 6x 800m, with 3:00 recovery

26 March 2019
Off track: Parlauf, Parkers Piece
Track: 4x 400m, with 90s. 3x sets with 3:00

2 April 2019
Off track: Storey's Way Hills, x 6
Track: Cutdowns: 1000m, 600m, 200m, all with 200m jog recovery

9 April 2019
Off track: 4x6 minutes, with 3 min recovery, West Site
Track: 4x 800m, 4x 400m, with equal time standing recovery

16 April 2019
Off track: Indian Running and 1k time trial, Jesus Green
Track: 8x 600m, with 200m jog

23 April 2019
Off track: Wheel of Fartlek, West Site
Track: 4x, 4x, 2x 400m, with 90s, and 3:00

30 April 2019
Off track: 5 x 1k, West Site
Track: 6x 800m, with 3:00 recovery

7 May 2019
Off track: 6 x 3 minutes, 90 seconds recovery, West Site
Track: Cutdowns: 1000m, 600m, 200m, all with 200m jog recovery.

14 May 2019
Off track: Hold and Kick
Track: 10x 400m, with 100m jog

21 May 2019
Off track: Storey's Way Hills x 6
Track: 6x 600m, 200m, with 200m jog

28 May 2019
Off track: Wheel of Fartlek, West Site
Track: 3x 4x 300m with 100m slow jog, and 3:00
