Tuesday Training Sessions
 

Introduction

Tuesday evening sessions are scheduled as follows.
6.30pm News items, notices etc..
6.40pm Warm up, including drills and skills
7.00pm Training session
8.00pm Warm down
8.15pm Finish
8.30pm Please be off-site

Road/off-track and track sessions for the next few weeks are below. Choose whichever suits you best. If you have any queries about which that might be, or would like further advice on a training programme, speak to one of the coaches.
The coaches will assume that all athletes are fit enough to complete the training session, please let us know of any injuries or medical issues.

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU WEAR HI-VIS IF YOU ARE RUNNING IN THE ROAD SESSIONS.

Off track: 5 x 1k Jesus Green
Track: 8 x 600m, 200m walk recovery

9 October
Off track: Parlauf Parkers Piece
Track: 4 x 800m w 3:00; 4 x 400m w 90s

16 October
Off track: City fartlek
Track: 10 x 400m w 100m

23 October
Off track: 5 x 1k hold and kick, West Site
Track: 6x 800m w 3 minutes recovery

30 October
Off track: Parlauf West Site
Track: Long WU; 2-3x cut downs (1k, 600m, 200m) w 200m slow jog & 200m walk

6 November
Off track: Wheel of Fartlek
Track: Long WU; 5-7x 800m w 3 minutes recovery

13 November
Off track: Indian Running - Jesus Green
Track: Long WU; 4-5x 1k hold and kick (800m, 200m) w slow jog

20 November
Off track: Parlauf - Parker's Piece
Track: Long WU; 3-4x 4 x 400m, w 90 secs and 3:00

27 November
Off track: City Fartlek
Track: Long WU; 5-7x 800m w 3:00

4 December
Off track: 5 x 1k West Site
Track: Long WU; 3-4x 1k hollow (400m, 200m, 400m) w 200m slow jog

11 December
Off track: Storey's Way 700m hills
Track: Long WU; 6-9x 600m, w 200m slow jog

Track: Christmas special (or Long WU; 7 x 800m w 3:00)
