London Marathon 2018
A week on, what to say about the hottest London on record? Many had bad races. But some had great results. Some had bad races that were, nevertheless, great (relative) results... We had a smattering of happy PBs, but also the odd DNF. Some decided against fully racing it, yet had fine even-paced performances. Christof's heat training showed through for himself and devotees. But it was, as ever, just the best event we have in the calendar IMHO, always a joy and a privilege to run, even if the experience becomes agonising. Top billing to George (11th overall) despite a painful second half; big kudos to Sarah with a PB and 9th FV40. The work by C&C staff was also much appreciated, as was the club support out there on the day. And me? A very satisfactory race... but I DNF'd my pub crawl and missed you guys, dammit! Do chip in with your stories below...

Nearest tube: Shadwell, St George's Swimming Pool is a good meetup point.
