Frostbite friendly league
The new Frostbite season commences on Sunday 2nd October with the first of six races between October and March is at Priory Park, St Neots. There are two races, juniors at 10:15 and seniors at 11. It's free to enter but all that's needed is to wear your club vest. The scoring works for juniors with a combination of the first four runners and seniors the first 10 runners and the club with the lowest score wins. They are great events (1.5 miles juniors and 5 miles seniors, approx race distances) with two new courses this season. I hope to see you there and Alan Baldock has also kindly agreed to assist.

Round Norfolk Relay results
The RNR results were delayed this year because of a computer failure. They are now available and I'm sure you'll agree they are a great set of results for C&C. The A team had the fastest overall time and came first in the Open class. They had some stunning stage wins which included 4 category records! The B team had very strong results and came in 10th in class, 22nd overall, with their own stage win too!
However, the most important thing was that we all had a blast and enjoyed ourselves in the depths of Norfolk!

Great North Run
Headline news - C&C's Victoria Knight started today's Great North Run in the Elite race, featured strongly in the lead pack until the superstar East Africans kicked on, and finished a spectacular eleventh, just ahead of Olympian Aly Dixon. 1:15:46. Wow. Just wow.
Full GNR rundown to follow when time allows, including something special from Chris Darling.

Christmas Party
The Christmas Party this year will be held at the Anglia Ruskin University on Friday 2nd December. We thought something different this time, so we are having a Ceilidh! Do come along. Anyone who has been to a Ceilidh has testified how much fun they had. It's open to all C&C members over 18, and their guests.
