Frostbite
The fifth Frostbite League race is at Bourne this Sunday, 10:15am for Juniors, 11am for Seniors. We always suffer from poor turnout for this one, so please do your very best to make it and help keep both teams near the top of the table. Glyn has suggested a 9am meet at Wilberforce Road for those interested in lift-sharing.

Lakenheath & SEAA XC
The SEAA cross-country championships and Lakenheath Charity 5 mile results have been posted. Good representation at the SEAA - well done all. By the way, don't forget to send me or Noel your results from anywhere in the country (or world), or post them here yourself. Apart from the fact that we all like to know who's been doing what, the club needs to know your results when deciding on silverware.

Turing Trail Relay - request for marshals
Ely Runners, via Rachel, have asked whether we can supply some marshals for the Cambridge section of the Turing Trail Relay on the 18th of March. The race is run in six stages from Ely to Cambridge and back along footpaths and trails beside the River Cam. If you can spare some time that morning, please get in touch with Rachel or pass on a message. As well as this new relay, Ely stage the New Year's Eve 10K and the Grunty Fen half marathon - this is an excellent chance to support the local running scene, and your help will be appreciated. The race website is here (pic stolen from that site).

WMA age/gender gradings
Some of the race results and the annual rankings now feature World Masters Athletics (formerly WAVA) age/gender percentages; these represent the percentage speed compared with the world best time at the competitor's age. If you want yours to appear, you'll need to update your preferences (link on the upper left) by entering your date of birth (assuming you're registered and logged in). Personally, I wish I hadn't.........

Folksworth, St Albans and EVAC XC
The weekend's results are now up.
•
Ramsey & Ryston
A big turnout at the Ramsey Frostbite in both seniors (27) and juniors (11) - best placing was John Baslington's second in the juniors, helping the team to third place on the day and consolidating third overall. The seniors took a handy third place as well, and close the gap on fourth-placed Hunts AC.
The clash put paid to C&C attendance at the Ryston XC.

New Saffron Walden shop - C&C night?
Neil has been contacted by "Runnerway", a new shop in Saffron Walden who are interested in hosting a C&C night (samples, gait analysis, discounts etc.) some time in January. Please e-mail (or speak to) Neil if you're interested, particularly if you can suggest an ideal night - a Wednesday night is the preferred option at the moment. Click 'Read More' for more (obviously!)....
An Invitation to the Athletes of Cambridge and Coleridge from RUNNERWAY
Dear C. + C.,
The team at Runnerway, Saffron Walden, invite your members to an Open

* Introduce you to the members of the Runnerway Team.
* Explain the services we can offer to your members.
* Go through the unique Runnerway system used to match running shoes
to the running style of the wearer.
* Explain why it is so important to wear running shoes that are right
for you.
We would therefore like to invite your club members to an open evening at
Runnerway between the hours of 7.30pm and 9.00pm on an evening of your

(Please avoid Thursday evenings as the shop has general late opening on this

During the evening your members can try out the running analysis system for
themselves. We would also be happy for your members to sample energy drinks
and bars.
We would be delighted to offer a 10% discount on any items purchased on the
night. On certain items there may be a discount of up to 50%.
We very much look forward to hearing from you at your earliest conveniance
on this. We really look forward to spending an evening with Cambridge and
