New Year's Racing
Results now up. A very successful day for C&C at Ely, with Rosie Clarke winning the women's race and Alex and Glyn taking the men's V55 and V60 prizes. Rosie posted the fastest accurately-measured C&C women's 10K of 2006 (as far as I know), with 37:38. At the Buntingford 10 miler, Emma Kreetzer also took a 2006 record (I think!), with 1:10:42 (please correct me if you know differently in either case). Fastest male and female 10Ks of 2007 followed the next day at Wymondham........

Just a quick reminder that the annual four mile race starts at Newnham Green, by the Fen Causeway roundabout, at 11am on the 26th, parents and relatives welcome, just turn up and run - no entry fee. If you haven't already, read Peter Chaplin's excellent piece on the race's history in the Sept 2006 newsletter.

Sunday's Frostbite and XC news
C&C seniors finished a creditable fourth at the muddy March leg of the Frostbite League, and hold on to fifth place overall. The Juniors went one better, finishing in an excellent third to move up to third place overall. Full results now up. On the down side, the clash with the Frostbite wrecked the C&C attendance at the Sunday Cross-Country League fixture.
