Hereward Relay
A brilliant win for the elite Women's team - Vicky, Kim, Fiona and Ellen. Ten filthy C&C teams did themselves and the club proud, as did harassed organiser Glyn. The support from non-runners and runners alike was superb. Photos up in the events section. Team results here.

Turing Trail Relay 18th March 2007 (Clash with Lisbon 1/2 marathon)
Ely - Cambridge - Ely
This new six stage relay event is run on mainly opposite riverside footpaths from Ely to Cambridge (Jesus Green) and back to Ely. Stages are from about 5.6 to 6.5 miles and vary from country trail to mixed terrain. These attractive and interesting footpaths were once used for running by Alan Turing, founder of computer science, whilst at King's College, Cambridge.
Lisbon Half Marathon

CCAC Road Runners etc December Social Event
Friday 1st December start at the Pickerel (Bridge St) 19.30 for 20.00 for genteel chats and for the young or not so young dancing after, Glyn says "are the Dorothy tea and dance rooms still open" (now known as Borders bookshop for the non-locals) or does he need to put his cotton wool into his ears again and go to those loud clubs.

Riverside Half
Results are up - congrats to Ellen for winning the ladies' event and Kim for 2nd FV35. Pietro led the challenge in the men's event, finishing 6th to Chris F's 12th. And well done/thanks to the army of supporters. C&C also won the Frostbite team prize.

Christmas RR Party
The Road Runners Christmas Party is to be held at Jesus College Bar on Sunday 17th December at 19.30
Cost £11.00 inc food
Its a very good do and we have the draw for the three club London Marathon places for those unsuccessful in the ballot.

We are now in 5th place seniors and 4th Juniors. An excellent turn-out for junior girls (let down by boys!). Apart from Michael Salt, where were our front-running senior men?

More excellent results - Roz ran 4:12:59, Joad 2:58:46 (beating Lance!) and Karen 4:16:51.
